One person was injured in a fire that significantly damaged a Fond du Lac home. Sunday afternoon firefighters were called to 93 South Bell Street to find heavy fire showing from the duplex. Both occupants were able to escape and one was treated for burns to the arm trying to extinguish the fire. Investigators believe the fire may have started in garbage receptacles outside the building. The duplex is uninhabitable and the residents are staying with relatives.
