A Fond du Lac woman is in custody following a high speed chase in the city of Fond du Lac. Shortly after 11:30pm Tuesday officers responded to the area of West Johnson Street and North Peters Avenue for a reckless driving complaint. The chase went eastbound on Johnson Street where the vehicle made a u-turn at North Seymour Street, before initially pulling over, and then speeding away westbound on Johnson at speeds up to 65 miles an hour. The chase ended when the vehicle ran over stop sticks near Highway 23 and County Road Y where the driver, a 30 year old Fond du Lac woman was arrested. The pursuit was approximately six miles and lasted about six minutes.
