2-8-25 nashota man convicted of stalking in fdl county

A Nashota man faces more than 40 years in prison when he is sentenced in A Fond du Lac County stalking case.   A Fond du Lac County jury convicted Zackery J. Olson of 16 counts, including Stalking, 10 counts of Violation of Injunction, two counts of Unlawful Use of  a Telephone,  and three counts of Felony Bail Jumping,  all as a repeat offender.     Judge Andrew Christenson revoked bond, ordered a pre-sentence investigation, and a sentencing date is scheduled for April 17th.  Olson faces a maximum sentence of up to 44 years of initial confinement.   District Attorney Toney stated “This defendant engaged in years of vulgar and disturbing stalking behavior. These convictions were made possible because of the incredible courage the victim demonstrated throughout this ordeal and her brave testimony at trial, something nobody should have to endure. We will always stand with victims of stalking to ensure their safety and security is protected by holding those accountable that threaten that safety.”
