A Fond du Lac man wanted for several crimes is in custody following a foot chase with police officers. The chase Sunday started after the suspect existed a vehicle in the Lakeside Garden apartment complex parking lot on North Peters Avenue. An officer used a Taser before taking the 29 year old man into custody. He was transported to the Fond du Lac County Jail on criminal charges of disorderly conduct, theft, battery, and burglary with battery to a person from a previous incident in early February 2025. He also had felony warrants for burglary and false imprisonment, five (5) additional misdemeanor warrants through Fond du Lac County, and one (1) misdemeanor warrant through Winnebago County. He now is facing a new charge of resisting arrest causing injury to a law enforcement officer.
