The Fond du Lac County Board this week got it’s first look at a proposed Justice Center. A presentation was made at Tuesday night’s county board meeting for a more than $390 million facility that would house a new jail, Sheriff’s Office, dispatch, District Attorney ‘s Office and court system. County Board chairman Steve Abel says while something needs to be done to address an overcrowded, outdated county jail he is concerned about the price tag. Abel says the county Public Safety Committee will now review the Jail Ad Hoc committee recommendation over the next several months.
