JUNEAU, WI – The ADRC (Aging & Disability Resource Center) of Dodge County is a proud recipient of the prestigious 2024 Ginny Gives® Award through the Dementia Society of America (DSA). Dodge County is honored to receive this esteemed award, recognizing the unwavering commitment and tireless efforts of our Dementia Care Specialist Rob Griesel. “We are so proud to be recognized by such an important organization focused on improving outcomes for individuals and families navigating dementia,” said ADRC Supervisor Brittany Borchardt. “Our team works tirelessly to ensure that Dodge County’s citizens are well supported throughout their memory care journey.” This annual program highlights remarkable contributions to Dementia care, non-medical interventions, basic research, and innovations that significantly enhance the quality of life for those living with Dementia and their care partners. Named in memory of Ginny J., whose journey through Dementia was characterized by her radiant smile and indomitable spirit, the awards commemorate the groundbreaking efforts that reflect her legacy. Dodge County provides services to approximately 7,600 individuals through the ADRC annually, focusing on supporting Dodge County residents as they age or face disabilities that impact the way they live their lives. In 2024 Dodge County also provided ample opportunities for individuals to connect with resources around dementia and memory care including support groups, seminars and activities. “We are incredibly inspired by the dedication and creativity of this year’s Ginny Gives® Award recipients,” said Ann Redfield, Executive Vice President of the Dementia Society of America. “Each has made profound contributions to the lives of those affected by Dementia.
