A Horicon man is in custody following a short pursuit that ended with a crash in a McDonald’s restaurant parking lot in Beaver Dam. The chase started late Wednesday afternoon on Highway 33 just outside Beaver Dam and ended when the vehicle struck a utility pole, signs and several parked vehicles in the McDonald’s parking lot. The 18 year old driver was transported to a hospital for treatment of non life threatening injuries. He faces charges of OWI and operating without a valid license.
