Fond du Lac, Wisc.: Moraine Park is celebrating the achievements of 20 Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Carpentry Apprentices who successfully completed their MPTC training on February 13. The ABC Carpentry Apprenticeship Program consists of four years of on-the-job and classroom training where students learn the basics of construction and then take that learning into the workforce of a sponsored employer–working alongside journeyman carpenters on residential, commercial and industrial projects. “This year, Wisconsin is celebrating 114 years of offering apprenticeship opportunities,” Stephen Horvath, associate dean of trades, said. “The skills you have gained at Moraine Park and through hands-on experience with your employer are invaluable and will stay with you for a lifetime. I encourage each apprentice to pay it forward, investing in others just as they have been invested in.” The 2025 ABC Carpentry completers are Dominic Brandenburg, Stevens Construction Corp.; Ch’neu Cha, McGann Construction, Inc.; Jerrett Fischer, Northcentral Construction Corporation; Yahir Gomez, Northcentral Construction Corporation; Craig Gschwendtner, Daniels Construction; Brett Peterson, AMCS, Inc.; James Smerz, AMCS, Inc.; Devin Wilson, Kraemer Brothers; Caitlin Anderson, Bob Anderson Builders, Inc.; Michael Barts, Kleiber Construction, Inc.; Maxwell Cohen, Kleiber Construction, Inc., Jared Cotton, Northcentral Construction Corporation; Nathaniel Eklund, QRS Group Inc; Timothy Gittel, AMCS, Inc.; Caleb McCallum, Commonwealth Construction Corporation; Thomas Moravetz, Burg Homes, LLC; Jacob Neese, Kleiber Construction, Inc.; Matthew Rashid, Burg Homes, LLC; Richard Schamberger, Kleiber Construction, Inc.; Mark Singletary, AMCS, Inc.
