2-27-25 suspended volunteer campbellsport firefighter charged with child sex assault
A suspended Campbellsport volunteer firefighter accused of sexually assaulting a child has made his initial court appearance. Thirty four year old Nicholas Benzing is charged with Second Degree Sexual Assault of a Child. Bail was set at $25,000 cash. He is accused of touching a girl inappropriately. Benzing is due back in court April 3rd for a preliminary hearing.
