3-6-25 crash following high speed chase may have spilled thousands of gallons of milk

A high speed chase in Fond du lac County this week that ended when the vehicle crashed into a semi-tanker hauling milk spilled an undetermined amount of milk on the ground.   The crash happened Tuesday afternoon on Highway 175 near County Highway F.   WFDL news has learned the DNR initially reported that as much as 7,000 gallons of milk may have spilled, but later posted that the amount spilled was undetermined.   Meanwhile sheriff’s captain Chris Randall says speeds during the chase reached 130 miles an hour at times.   Randall says its fortunate the driver and a passenger escaped with only minor injuries.  Randall says the nearly three mile long chase probably lasted less than a minute.
