Fond du Lac, WI – The Gratitude Club, a cornerstone of Fond du Lac’s recovery community, is pleased to invite the public to an Open House on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at its location, 295 Ruggles Street, Fond du Lac, WI. Often referred to as “Fond du Lac’s best-kept secret,” the Gratitude Club provides a welcoming and supportive environment for individuals on their recovery journey. While respecting the privacy of 12-step meeting attendees, this Open House will provide the community with an opportunity to learn about the Club’s mission, programs, and services. Attendees will have the chance to explore the Club’s offerings, including fellowship opportunities, various 12-step meetings, and the popular coffee counter serving exceptional coffee and beverages. The event will also highlight collaborations with key community partners who provide substance use and mental health services in the Fond du Lac area.
A key highlight of the Open House will be the official announcement of the non-profit Gratitude Club’s capital campaign to build a brand-new 8-bed women’s sober living residence adjacent to the Club. A press conference will be held at 5:00 PM, during which the campaign’s kickoff and founding donors will be publicly announced.
During the Open House, representatives from 12-step groups and local organizations will provide information on the benefits of recovery programs and services. Featured presentations and activities include:
12-Step Groups – Overview of programs and their impact on recovery.
Women For Recovery – Showcase of the children’s area for mothers in recovery.
District 25 AA Central Office – Literature sales, including the Plain Language Big Book.
Fond du Lac County Health Department – Narcan demonstration and overdose prevention education.
Drug Court Representatives – Information on legal support and rehabilitation options.
Fond du Lac for Recovery Media Campaign – Awareness and stigma reduction efforts.
