The Fond du Lac Holy Family Catholic Community Soup du Jour fundraiser was held over the weekend. Holy Family’s Sarah Razner says all of the proceeds go to the Holyland Food Pantry and St. Vincent de Paul of Fond du Lac County. Razner says last year St. Vincent de Paul answered as many as 90 calls for assistance per week and Holyland Food Pantry consistently serves 50 households, or a total of 145 adults and children throughout the Holyland area. The fundraiser was held Saturday at Holy Family Church with more than 20 local restaurants donating their favorite soups, which were sold on a first come, first serve basis.
