3-27-25 fdl county veterans park renovation plans

Fond du Lac County is asking the public for donations to help make a major transformation of Veterans Park a reality.  The county has committed $400,000 to the project…and Veterans Services Officer Dave Tellefson says about $230,000 is still needed.  Tellefson says first and foremost the renovated park will be ADA accessible.  Tellefson says the big part of the renovation for him is bringing a Washington D.C. style memorial to Fond du lac.  The public can make a donation through the Fond du Lac Area Foundation.  The goal is to raise the money so construction can begin this year and have the project completed in time for Veterans Day.
