3-28-25 envision greater fdl endorses fdl school district operations referendum

The Envision Greater Fond du Lac Board of directors is on record in support of the Fond du Lac School District operations referendum.  Envision president Sadie Howell says the endorsement reflects the Boards’ support of the district’s efforts to improve educational outcomes in the district.  “Employers have been saying this is exactly what we’ve been asking for and now we can use these improved test scores and positive information coming out of the school district when we are recruiting,”  Howell told WFDL news.  Fond du Lac School District superintendent, Dr. Jeff Fleig, who serves on the Envision Board, says the endorsement is important.  “The school district really supports economic development.  When the community wants to grow economically they need strong schools,”  Fleig said.   Envision is hosted an informational session on the referendum Wednesday evening at the Lakeside Park Pavilion.
