3-31-25 child seriously injured in head-on crash in fdl county

A child was seriously injured in a head on collision in Fond du Lac County. The crash happened Sunday evening on Highway G north of St. Cloud. A preliminary investigation shows a southbound vehicle crossed the center line on a curve in the road colliding with a northbound vehicle. A four year old passenger in the southbound car was transported to Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee with a significant head injury. The driver, a 26 year old Illinois woman, received minor injuries. She was cited for operating left center causing injury and for not having the child in a proper restraint seat. A man and woman in the other car, ages 51 and 50, from St. Cloud, also received minor injuries.
