3-28-25 child dies in house fire in calumet county

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child.  Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T.   A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital.  The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

(Washington, D.C.) – Congressman Glenn Grothman (R-WI) has introduced the Ensuring Workers Get PAID Act, legislation that permanently reinstates the Payroll Audit Independent Determination (PAID) program, which allows businesses to quickly resolve wage discrepancies for workers.
