4-2-25 operations referendum approved in only one area school district

Voters have approved only one local school operation referendum.  The Waupun School District referendum was approved with 2,875 yes votes to 2,475 no votes.   Waupun superintendent Steve Hill says he’s pleased voters supported the $900,000 operations referendum.  The $10 million Fond du Lac School District operations referendum was defeated 9,617 no votes to 8,452 yes votes.  Operation referendums also went down in North Fond du Lac and Oakfield.
