High winds caused scattered power outages in the Fond du Lac area early Wednesday morning. Fond du Lac Fire chief Pete O’Leary says crews responded to several weather related calls including power outages with down wires. “About 3am we started getting several calls of tree limbs down on wires and some power outages in some areas. We had a lot of debris flying around,” O’Leary told WFDL news. “Police have been very busy as well trying to keep barricades up, especially on Johnson Street where there is construction, the barricades have been moved all over the place.” Trees are reported down on Chestnut, McKinley, and South Main Streets, Merrill and Mequon Avenues. A trampoline was reported blowing down the street on Mary Lee Drive. Scattered power outages were also reported in Lomira.
