Wisconsin’s Lieutenant governor says the governor’s budget will help support women, families and the workforce. Lieutenant governor Sarah Rodriquez made the comments Wednesday afternoon following a roundtable discussion in Fond du Lac with representatives from the Fond du Lac Women’s Fund to celebrate International Women’s Day. Rodriguez says the governor is committed to helping women advance their careers by proposing a 12-week paid family leave program in his state budget. Rodriquez also says child care must be affordable and accessible.
