An Oconto man walking in the middle of the street in Fond du Lac armed with a gun has been taken into custody.  Shortly after 3pm Monday police received a 9-1-1 call from a man who said he was armed with a pistol walking in the street at the intersection of Marquette Street and E. Merrill Avenue.   When  officers arrived the man yelled obscenities and told officers to shoot him.  When the man turned toward East Rees Street near a school police used less lethal sponge rounds, used negotiations and eventually took a 23 year old Oconto man into protective custody.
