Nobody was injured and Fond du Lac police are investigating after receiving reports of gunshots fired. Shortly after 9pm Tuesday police officers responded to the area of South Main Street and East Pioneer Road for a report of gunshots. Police were unable to locate any witnesses or property damage. Later in the evening police canvassed an area near the East Pioneer Road BP Pit Stop gas station where officers located handgun casings. Officers will be back in the area this morning re-canvassing for any additional evidence and video surveillance available of the incident.
