Two people escaped serious injury in a pickup versus semi trailer crash in Dodge County. The crash happened shortly before 9am Monday on Highway 151 at Jackson Road in the town of Calamus. A preliminary investigation shows a northbound pickup driven by 25 year old Austin Krause of Reeseville collided with a semi truck and trailer driven by 56 year old Robert Krieg of Juneau. Krause was flown by helicopter to a hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Krieg was not injured. Assisting at the crash were Beaver Dam Paramedics, Beaver Dam Fire Department, Dodge County Emergency Response Team (DCERT), Flight for Life, Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, Dodge County Emergency Management, and the Dodge County Crash Investigation Team. The crash remains under investigation.
