Fond du Lac, Wis. – Thanks to KidoodlED and Dude Perfect’s $1M School GiveAway, The Cardinals Nest at Fond du Lac High School (FHS) is a finalist to win $10K for their video entry to help to build an inclusive playground at Rosenow Elementary School. Online voting kicked off for all of the finalists on June 1, 2023 and will go until June 15, 2023; however, an additional notification and incentive from KidoodlED was recently released indicating that the top five schools with the most votes will receive an additional $10K. Currently, at the #5 spot for most votes, The Nest is hopeful to maintain a top spot that would double their winnings. “Our Cardinals Nest seniors learned that they were a finalist in the KidoodlEd + Dude Perfect School Giveaway about two hours before they graduated last week. The news really made them feel so good and hopeful about their final project,” said Jennifer King, Cardinals Nest teacher/advisor. “With their video coming in as one of the top ones due to all of the support from friends, families and co-workers going online to vote, I’m really hoping to give them a final push in the final eight days of voting.” Yard signs featuring QR codes to quick vote and serve as a daily reminder will be on school properties throughout the community until the end of the voting on June 15. The public may help by giving their vote each day from now until June 15 by going to the voting page school-giveaway.kidoodle.tv/vote and conducting a search for Rosenow.
