The book ‘Paradise Lost’ has been found, a half a world away, at the Fond du Lac Public Library. Library director Jon Mark Bolthouse says the book turned up in the library drop box last week, but but to the great surprise of staff it came from a library in Casino, New South Wales, Australia. Bolthouse says the book was checked out from a pop-up library at a local train station in Australia, a couple hours south if Brisbane. Bolthouse says Fond du Lac Library contacted the library in Casino with the news. He says ‘Paradise Lost’ has been withdrawn from the library in Australia, and will now likely be marked for sale at the Fond du Lac Library’s Chapter 52 used bookstore. Interestingly the same day the Fond du Lac Public Library also received a book from a library in Canada.
