Investigators do not believe a Manitowac man involved in a high speed chase in Fond du Lac County is in the area anymore. Authorities are looking for 24 year old Nathan Holan following the Friday morning chase that started on Highway 49, and ended when the vehicle struck a utility pole and Holan fled on foot. Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s captain, Bill Tadych, says a search was called off after about five hours. Tadych says investigators do not believe initial reports that Holan may have suffered a broken leg in the crash and says he believes Holan may have had assistance in leaving the area. The Sheriff’s Office says Holan has a lengthy criminal history and is currently on probation for armed robbery.
