Nobody was injured and a Wausau man is in custody following a shooting incident in Fond du Lac. Shortly after 11pm Saturday Fond du Lac police were called to the area of East 2nd Street and Park Avenue for multiple reports of possible gunshots. Officers located several handgun casings near the intersection, and a 20 year old Wausau man was located near the area and later transported to the Fond du Lac County Jail where he is being held on numerous weapons related charges. There were no reported injuries or property damage due to the gunshots. This incident remains under investigation by the City of Fond du Lac Police Department. No further details or information are being released at this time. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office assisted on scene.
