The Fond du Lac School District superintendent says a donation to upgrade playground equipment at every elementary school in the district is the largest donation of it’s kind in school district history. Superintendent Dr. Jeff Fleig says the National Exchange Bank Foundation and Barbara and Peter Stone Foundation have donated $1 million for new playground equipment at each elementary school in the district. Dr. Fleig says groundbreaking is planned for April with the new playgrounds ready for use at the start of next school year.
