HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:
The event is January 9 and is hosted at Moraine Park Technical College, Fond du Lac Campus.
The time commitment is 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Presenters will be assigned to their own classroom. Classroom rotations will consist of 20-minute blocks.
Presenters are to discuss their career for the first 5 minutes (pros, cons, employment outlook, education, etc.). The remaining 15 minutes must be used for an interactive or hands-on activity. The activity is required and is essential in helping students to connect your words to your career.
If needed, we have resources and teachers available to help you create an awesome interactive or hands-on activity, so don’t let this deter you from participating.
Presenters will share the same material up to 12 times to different audiences of students.
Groups will consist of 15-25 students per presentation, accompanied by a teacher or chaperone. Approximately 250 students will move through your room during the day.
Presenter breaks will be built into the classroom rotations. Lunch will be provided.
