The state Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection is out with it’s top ten list of consumer complaints. Consumer Protection administrator Michelle Reinen says landlord-tennant issues topped the list in 2023. “Last year was the first time it was number one on the list in a couple of decades,” Reinen told AM 1170s Between the Lines program. Reinen says telemarketing complaints are number two on the list, followed by home improvement scams, telecommunications complaints and identity theft. Rounding out the list were complaints about medical services, motor vehicle repair, travel, motor vehicle sales, and motor vehicle accessories.
