The Fond du Lac County Highway commissioner says proposed improvements on Interstate 41 will target an area that has been a problem for a long time. Highway commissioner Tom Janke says improvements will include mitigating ongoing flooding issues on the interstate near the Hickory Road interchange. Janke says he’s confident the upgrades will take care of the flooding problem. Other improvements include replacing the cable barrier from County Highway D to Highway 151. and repaving the interstate. A public information meeting was scheduled for Tuesday evening at the county Highway Garage.
