A permanent music stage at the Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds has taken another step forward. The Fond du Lac County Board has approved a resolution accepting a $300,000 naming rights donation from the National Exchange Bank Foundation for the naming of the new stage, and acceptance of a $375,000 donation from the city of Fond du Lac for construction of the stage. County executive Sam Kaufman says construction on the stage would start sometime after this summer’s Fair: Residents in the neighborhood have expressed concerns about the stage being used for concerts outside of the week of the county Fair disrupting their otherwise quiet neighborhood.
