Blind people from throughout Wisconsin gathered  in Fond du Lac over the weekend for the 49th annual National Federation of the Blind of Wisconsin state convention.  President of the NFB of Wisconsin Ben Dallin says the theme of this year’s convention was Springing into Action: Advocating for an Accessible Future.  Secretary of the NFB’s Board of directors, Everett Bacon says there are several accessibility concerns facing blind people today including website and software accessibility.  The NFB has more than 50,000 members in more than 700 local chapters in every state, and the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
