A child was critically injured after being struck by a pickup truck in Fond du Lac County. The crash happened shortly after 5pm Thursday on Townline Road near Lincoln Road. A preliminary investigation shows a pickup driven by a 20 year old Van Dyne man was southbound on Townline Road when it struck a 6 year old Van Dyne girl. The girl was flown by helicopter to a hospital with life threatening injuries. The State Patrol is investigating the crash.
