Construction on a new bike path to complete a city-wide bike loop in Fond du Lac is expected to begin sometime next year. The Fond du Lac city council is directing city staff to apply for a state grant to construct the path on the city’s south side. Public Works director Jordan Skiff says the new path addresses a significant gap in the city-wide bike loop in the Camelot Drive area. Skiff says the city hopes to know sometime this summer if the grant is awarded with construction beginning later this fall or early next year.
