An 18 year old Fond du Lac man was arrested following a nearly eight mile long high speed chase in Fond du Lac County. The chase started shortly before 2am Friday when a Sheriff’s deputy attempted to stop a speeding vehicle on Highway 23 near County Highway W. Speeds reached 100 miles an hour before the suspect vehicle came to a stop at the Highway 151 Bypass. The driver was taken into custody at gunpoint. An 18 year old passenger was cited for underage drinking third offense.
