Nobody was injured following a natural gas leak in Fond du Lac Monday. Investigators say Alliant Energy was working in the area at 405 West Scott Street when a gas service line was struck. Upon arrival fire crews evacuated the area and closed Scott Street until it was determined to be safe. Alliant Energy located the line and clamped off the leak. Alliant Energy remained on scene to remedy the problem. There were no reported injuries. The Fond du Lac Police Department assisted with traffic control.
