A Waupun woman was seriously injured in a two vehicle traffic crash in Dodge County over the weekend. A preliminary investigation shows a car was eastbound on Highway C when it entered the southbound lanes of Highway 151 striking a vehicle. The driver of the striking car, 31 year old Jenny Wolc of Waupun, was flown by helicopter to UW Hospital in Madison with serious injuries. Sheriff Dale Schmidt says Wolc was later arrested for misdemeanor operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant. The driver of the other vehicle , a 53 year old Middleton man, was not injured. The intersection is scheduled for safety improvements next spring.
