Waupun police used a Taser to take a 19 year old Waupun woman into custody following a domestic incident. Police were called to a domestic battery complaint at a residence in the 900 block of Madison Street. When officers arrived the woman attempted to flee, and attempted to grab knives from a kitchen drawer, and then fought with officers with a knife in her possession. Officers used a Taser device before taking her into custody. Charges of domestic abuse related battery, battery to an officer, resisting, disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property have been forwarded to the Dodge County District Attorney.
