A Fond du Lac-based volunteer animal rescue organization participated in a live fundraising challenge by the Florida based organization Jordan’s Way. Jordan’s Way founder Kris Rotonda was in Fond du Lac Saturday evening to help Sandi Paws Rescue raise thousands of dollars to aid its efforts to serve the needs of rescue dogs and cats. The event was livestreamed on Sandi Paws Facebook page, and the public was also invited to the FDL County Fairgrounds Recreation Center to watch the event, learn more about Sandi Paws or donate. The evening included a series of challenges featuring Sandi Paws volunteers. Teams competed in fun events as donors, Sandi Paws alumni and community members sponsored their efforts.
