A major road project in the city of Fond du Lac was recently completed and city officials say it will go a long way to improving safety. Public Works director Paul DeVries says the reconstruction of Pioneer Road near Theisen Middle School was a long time coming. DeVries says it’s pretty amazing that there haven’t been sidewalks in front of the school until now. The intersection of Pioneer Road and Martin Avenue has also been upgraded.
