10-19-24 hurricane helene relief effort

Fond du Lac residents are being asked to help donate supplies that will be transported by truck to aid hurricane victims in North Carolina.   Cheryl Meyer is organizing the relief effort which is being held this weekend at the Fond du Lac County Airport.   Meyer says the clothing and supplies will be loaded on a semi donated by TTI Trucking and transported to North Carolina where church volunteers and a group of military veterans called Christian Rangers will distribute them to those in need.  Meyer says among the items that are needed include cold weather items.   The drive-through relief effort will be held from 3pm to 6pm Friday, 10am to 1pm Saturday, and 2pm to 5pm Sunday at the Fond du Lac County Airport.
