A competency examination has been ordered for a Taycheedah women’s prison inmate charged in the beating death of her cellmate. Twenty eight year old Taylor Sanchez is charged with first-degree intentional homicide in the death of 68 year old Cindy Schulz-Juedes. Sanchez entered a not guilty plea in April and last week her attorney added a not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect plea. This week Fond du Lac County Circuit Judge Tricia Walker ordered the competency evaluation. Sanchez is scheduled to go on trial next July.
