A new medical equipment loan locker is opening up serving the communities of Van Dyne and Fond du Lac. A joint effort of the Van Dyne Lions Club and the Fond du Lac Evening
Lions Club, free loan medical equipment will be available to residents of the southern Lake Winnebago area. “All sorts of medical equipment will be available on a free loan basis,” said Tom Wendt of the Van Dyne Lions Club, coordinator of the project. An Open House is planned for Saturday, November 2 at 3 p.m. to showcase the new building built by members of the Van Dyne Lions Club. Refreshments will be served. Medical equipment to be loaned out has been donated by neighboring Lions medical lockers. Future equipment will come from community donations. Anyone with equipment that is no longer needed is encouraged to donate to the locker for the benefit of others. The locker is scheduled to open in mid-November, will operate two days per week, Tuesdays from 3 to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon.
