FOND DU LAC, WI – November 12, 2024 – Football fans won’t want to miss a Book Signing and Tailgate Party with Dr. George E. Koonce, Jr., Sunday, November 17, at the Stayer Center on the Marian University Campus. Dr. Koonce, a former Green Bay Packer, is Senior Vice President for University Relations at Marian. This event is free and open to the public. From 10 am to 12 Noon, Dr. Koonce will be signing copies of his book Is There Life After Football? Surviving the NFL, which tells his inspiring life journey. Limited copies will be available for purchase for $20 each. If you bring another item to be signed, there is a limit of one item per person and a suggested donation of $20 to Marian University. The event will also feature a Packers vs. Bears game viewing party, complete with tailgate-style food, games, and fundraisers hosted by Marian’s clubs and organizations.
