The SSM Health Fond du Lac Regional Clinic welcomes Jamie Deering, MD, a board-certified family medicine physician, to its 420 E. Division Street clinic in Fond du Lac. She is now accepting new patients. As she joins SSM Health, Dr. Deering will also serve as the SSM Health Wisconsin Region Primary Care Medical Director. Dr. Deering specializes in family medicine and sees patients of all ages. She offers a full range of general family medicine; preventive health care; annual physicals; well-child checks and immunizations; and care for acute and chronic illness and general medical concerns. Additionally, she has an interest in helping individuals with opioid use concerns. A native of Randolph, Wisconsin, Dr. Deering has practiced family medicine for 23 years. “Family medicine was a big draw for me having the ability to care for the entire family including different generations,” Dr. Deering says. “Nearly three decades later, I do not regret my choice. “I genuinely care about each and every patient I see,” Dr. Deering adds. “For me, it’s not just about ensuring they feel listened to or cared for; it’s about truly understanding their needs and providing the best possible support. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Dr. Deering completed her family medicine residency through the Medical College of Wisconsin at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. In a blended family with nine children, Dr. Deering spends most of her free time with activities focusing on family, especially sporting events where the children are completing.
