Republican congressman Glenn Grothman says he believes tariffs against Canada and Mexico will be in place for a long time. Grothman says he is concerned about the economic impact, but says “We’ll have to see how they play out.” Grothman says he believes president Trump is counting on the tariffs to help balance the budget. However Grothman says at the same time there are individual businesses who he says have been treated unfairly who will benefit from the tariffs.
