Becky Casper, an SSM Health Fond du Lac Regional Clinic Dermatology electrologist, has been named the newest recipient of the BEE (Be Exceptional Everyday) Award.
Casper was nominated by a colleague who wrote: “Becky goes above and beyond to ensure our department runs as smoothly as possible. She has her own caseload of patients but is always willing to help out others when needed. She took over our department ordering this year, which can be quite demanding. It often requires her to research products online and call Central to ensure we are getting the correct supplies. She regularly puts away incoming orders, labels supplies, and draws up lidocaine for nursing staff.
“She is always willing to coordinate a potluck or event for staff birthdays and to boost department morale. She singlehandedly organized the supply closet and checked for expiration dates. In addition, she has been partnering with Dr. Van Why to bring more opportunities to the clinic and our patients. They have been researching products and working with reps to bring new products and services to the clinic. Most recently, she has taken on the extra responsibility of collecting and uploading end of the month documents while a fellow staff member is on leave. “Becky is an incredible person and coworker. She is an irreplaceable asset to this department, and we are so grateful for all she does for us.”
The BEE Award is specifically designed to recognize non-nursing staff members who demonstrate great teamwork and communication skills, collaboration, professionalism, exemplary service, and a commitment to excellence.
