The Fond du Lac metro area continues to show strong job growth between 2013 and 2015. NewGeography has ranked the County 156th in job creation out of 421 metros in the nation. Fond du Lac County Economic Development Corporation president Steve Jenkins says only the Janesville-Beloit metro ranked higher. In terms of overall rank gains, the Fond du Lac metro exhibited the greatest gain at 197 spots between 2013 and 2015. The report also shows the Fond du Lac metro ranked 20th in information-related job growth…a drop from 13th last year. However, in terms of the 173 small metros, Fond du Lac ranked 7th…only Janesville-Beloit ranked higher.
