A motorcyclist was seriously injured in an accident Wednesday night in Dodge County. The crash happened on Payne Road near Taylor Road in the Town of Rubicon. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Department says 21 year old Nathan Hennes of Rubicon was traveling east on Payne Road when the motorcycle left the road and struck several trees. Hennes was transported to Hartford Hospital and immediately flown by Flight for Life helicopter to Summit Hospital with severe injuries. He was not wearing a helmet. The Sheriff’s Department says speed and alcohol may be factors in the crash, which remains under investigation.
