GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — Brett Favre returned to Lambeau Field, where the Green Bay Packers inducted their former MVP quarterback into the team’s Hall of Fame Saturday night. Saturday night represented the culmination of a long reconciliation between Favre and the Packers. Favre’s Number 4 jersey will also be retired in a ceremony inside Lambeau. More than 67,000 people were expected to watch in the stadium bowl on video boards. Favre played 16 seasons in Green Bay. He is credited with leading the revival of the franchise during the Nineties. Favre and the Packers had a messy split in 2008 following after uncertainty over whether Favre would retire. He later played with the Jets and the Vikings. But Saturday was all about the glory years in Green Bay.
